Yes we do. I remember taking the little foster kids all over the US and how they enjoyed meeting other people. Now our family vacation spot is a KOA somewhere. We especially love Mexico and Kentucky. Nags Head was a favorite of our kids and the mountains were also. They enjoyed camping with us also ans we spent several days a yr at state parks and close to the water. For a day trip we loved to take a picnic and go to the park and walk trails and spend the night in a cabin or our rv.
References :
Vacation spot would have to be Paradise, MI. But Lake Superior is always too cold to go swimming.

Weekend get aways we go boating a lot and hope to go camping some this summer

Day trips would be boating, going to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, we use to go to the zoo til they closed it and go to the park down by the beach

We are planning on taking the kids to sesame place in PA this summer
References :
mom to 5 little girls and a little boy

We do go on family trips a bit more than average. The husband works for a hotel chain, so we take full advantage of his employee discount.

San Diego is one of my favorite places to go, and its only a few hour drive from our house.

Sometimes we go north and see the snow. Sometimes we go to Vegas (though not my favorite place in the world, especially with the kids). Other times, we just book a room or two at a local resort and just take advantage of the pool and room service.

On the average weekend, my husband is home on Sundays, so we spend that day on day-trips. Lately we've been picking just a local park or museum, packing a lunch, and heading out for the day. Our kids are still too young for the family to really have fun at an amusement park (all being under 7, and short of patience). I don't do boats, because I puke, so they're out.

Most summers we head to the East Coast, the New England area for a week or so on the beach. The kids stay behind for a few more weeks to visit their grandparents when we have to come back home for work.
References :
Full time college as a nuke would be impossible. After your schooling there are still qualifications for watchstations once you reach a sea command, plus mandatory submarine qualifications if you were to volunteer for submarines. Then there's operations and maintenance and continued training. Sometime in there you might want some free time to sleep and maybe actually have a life while you're young.

Unless things have changed in recent years a nuke officer must have an pertinent Engineering Degree. Mathematics, while nice, would only get you to a instructor duty at Nuclear Power School.

STA21 is an option to get a degree and become an officer after enlisting.
References :
Nuclear Power Trained Submarine Veteran

I love taking trips. Usually our big vacation for the year revolves around a family members wedding. I have over 20 first cousins on my dads side and I am the third oldest so it seems like every year we have at least one or two weddings to go to!

We usually try to take a week before the wedding to do fun things on the road on the way there or visit some fun places that are nearby. This summer it will be Minnesota. So we are going to travel through South Dakota and visit Mount Rushmore, Bear Country and the town where Laura Ingle Wilder grew up.

Favorite weekend getaway is Camping or Denver. It is the closest big city to us about 5 hours away. We like to take a weekend and hit up the zoo, malls and Childrens Museum.

Day trips? Well there isn't much around where we live, so I would have to say out to the ranch where my parents live. We all enjoy being outdoors, BBQing and riding horses.
References :
no way will be able to attend college full time while on AD. ESPECIALLY as a Nuke. Navy duties will always take precedence.

Nuke is a six year AD commitment.

your best bet, if being an O is your ultimate goal is to apply to STA-21 once in. then your sole job in life is to get that 4 year degree( in three years) and they pay for it all.

alternatively.. NROTC and apply for a commission directly.
References :
Trying to conceive your first child.....

Been to Mexico.....

I would, if I were you, perform a Parasitic Cleanse with your husband as well. Include digestive cleanse as well for you and your husband before conceiving. Wait at least 6 months to past to get all of the herbs and cleansers out of your system before conception. It will interfere with things if you don't wait.

Depending where you were in Mexico, you may have picked up a bug (bacteria) or a parasite.

You can create some Poor Man's Penicillin by buying a bottle of Apple Cider with mother, place 5 to 8 crushed and skinned cloves of organic garlic into the bottle along with the garlic juice. Allow the bottle to sit for 3 days or until the garlic bulbs sink to the bottom of the bottle. Shake the bottle real good each day of the 3 day curing period.

After curing, take 1 tablespoon 3 times per day for about a week.

Now in the mean time, you will need to start something to protect yourself while the ACV is curing. Wash and cut up some lemons, limes and grapefruit. Place them with their rinds intact into the blender. Blend and pour into a picture. (rinds included) Take a glass when you get up and when you go to bed. With-in a couple of days the oil should begin to separate from the water. That oil is what you want to drink as well. You'll see the oil floating to the top or trapped in between the water and rinds.

It will be a good idea to begin your Digestive Cleanse first then the Parasitic Cleanse then repeat the Digestive Cleanse again. The reason for these actions is to get at the parasite that may be attached to the wall of your intestines. Cleaning out your gut will help expose them and bathe them with anti-parasitic herbs. Once they are dead, you can flush them out with a second cleansing.

I hope you and your husband perform this before they (critters) get into your blood stream and move somewhere else....

Hope this helps.....

P.S. Yes....you can past parasites to your baby being formed in your womb. This can lead to a deformed baby or other horrible things. Please do not go overboard and decide to take these herbs during pregnancy. These herbs will interfere with your babies proper development. Nothing but food and pre-natal vitamins should be consumed while pregnant.
References :
I would love too

but my wife's husband spends entirely too much time at work.

between you and me I think that he is a work-a-holic and needs to get a grip on what is really important in the world.
References :
You'll join enlisted so they won't just give you 2 years to go to school full time. You'll have to go to sea, if you're not a spu in prototype.
You can apply to an officer program and then you'll go to school full time with the obligation to be an officer afterwards.
Or you can stay enlisted and work on your degree online.

I would like to say that to become an officer, yes even nuke, you can have any degree. I had a division officer who had a degree in botany.
References :
9 years in the navy as a nuke
