The mcdonald’s restaurant located on the corner of route 37 and south main street in massena new york will soon face the wrecking ball. this restaurant was constructed and opened on Thursday June 13, 1974. I WAS THERE AS A BABY AT THE OPENING!!! an addition was added and the building was updated in 1987. I have many childhood memories at this mcdonald’s. its no ordinary restaurant chain location. I speak briefly in this video about massena’s mcdonald’s before its destroyed by the wrecking ball and placed into the local history books. a new and modern mcdonald’s will be constructed on its location. — john daniel
